O-bam-a !

Finally so much noise and show-shah for the Mr. and Mrs. Black President from the proclaimed white nation arriving to the humble wheatish country has paid off. I've been listening and reading about it since long....long enough not to mark anything to memory. But thanks to the media, this was always topping the charts and still is. After Obama left the Indian soil, the media got back to work producing articles and analysis of the Obama's visit on daily basis. I was amazed to read each one of them and just wondered if I could manufacture something of the same genre.
The US president has a very well defined strategy planned to strengthen its ties with every other country it can possibly gets strings attached with. After the recent polls, the democrats surely have reasons to worry.Of course, India is at the top priority with so much happening with us at this quarter of the century. We are into nuclear power, IT, imports - exports, education, research....you name it and a pool of talented
Indians will respond to that. So getting back, the Washington meets New Delhi was the most anticipated event
this year after CWG and the trial. And this time the visit was a symbolic gesture of accepting Indian on the Global platform. I, like every other partial pessimist, was wondering about the security issues since our country has been the prime location lately for the bloody games. And thanks to the Indian security forces and everyone involved in organizing this whole event, the ship sailed smoothly or at least the surface was non-turbulent. Not only did Washington met New Delhi, it paid visit to our aamchi Mumbai in style, stayed in Taj, spent time with students in Xavier’s' and danced to the tunes of Daler mehndi....whoa!!! And the Indian audience enjoyed every bit of it like we always do when any foreigner speaks "I looooove Indiaaaa !”

The most important outcome of Obama's visit was the civil nuclear deal which the 2 nations signed ,and is proclaimed by many. was inevitable. If that is the case, I would rather applaud more of being able to hold the world's attention for a couple of days. Even though India doesn't have much of economic establishment considering the indices of poverty, corruption, illiteracy and numerous other diseases, from the larger view, India is growing and dare anyone stop it! Long way to go Bharat!

Hey Gudia,
Really a decent composition.
"Not only did Washington MET New Delhi", u need to chk if its correct.
First 3 lines of last para are slightly difficult to comprehend. Use simple sentences between two heavy sentences.
2nd para 5 line : u dun quote we are into imports exports every country does dat, its for survival dear.
U neednt go deep into CWG when talkin abt Obama Visit.
", it paid visit to our aamchi Mumbai in style, stayed in Taj, spent time with students in Xavier’s' and danced to the tunes of Daler mehndi" : too simple add some spice.
Less focus on Obama activities, other items take priority in ur article. Or wrong title.
Hw cm u never mentioned Obama supportin India fr UNSC permanent seat which was a landmark thing.

Good try though.

Jai Ho..! First, i really appreciate your commitment in going ahead with what you'd once initiated with a blurred vision but finally being able to put in black & white.(Don't get carried away by this :P)Coming down to the post, i second what Aman said. (@Aman->Bro, MBA seems to be getting on your nerves!! :D)
Adding my 2 cents to it, i won't say what you could have said correctly from technical context but this, his essence. The way he(Obama) blended with the common. Not much of those who had been in his shoes or of equivalent caliber justified the true spirit of India. Emphasizing, not only did he work upon his accent to respect the great leaders of our nation but also appreciated our culture and gave respect to the needful. He's not just a leader who has MKG's picture framed in his office, but knows what difference one man has made to the entire world. I feel this is something which matters when you create a relationship. Be it two people or two nations as in the said case.

Finally, the verdict.
It's a definite progress.
What should I say, keep writing!

regards,
rohit..
