Real Beauty (Party of IndiBlogger contest)

I'd been wondering about this since this opened up and every time I opened "new post" in my blog and wanted my fingers to come up with some beautiful sentences, I failed miserably and I silently signed out each time. I doubted if I ever could pen down what real beauty is .

I should have known that I was a fool to think if I would ever be able to describe real beauty because its much more than what ever could be felt about, touched, seen, expressed, written, admired….its so much more than perspective of a single person. A pregnant lady is beautiful cause she’s carrying a new life inside her, nourishing her, protecting her and attempting to make her one of her own kind. An average poor lady working on roads, industries, mines is equally beautiful cause she is so courageously facing the world and earning her own livelihood and probably also for her family. She is independent and bold and free from all worldly double faced malice which makes her unique in her own sense. Beautiful is the average middle class girl who is naïve and unaware of the ways of the wicked world. She has dreams of her own, studies in college, works in the household, wishes and attempts to outdo her brothers which sometimes grab attention of her parents, wishes to have a career and not to get married off soon. She’s beautiful for her meekly submission to her parents’ wishes, to keep the respect intact and also for her bold attempts to gain control of her life when needed.

Beautiful are all stages of life- childhood, teenage, youth, adulthood, old age specifically because of the life experiences treasured in the heart – some bitter some sweet, sometimes reflected in the eyes, trying to impart to their children, if not grand children, the love that’s in their hearts is pure and unadulterated.There is hardly a single thing that flashes my mind when I think of beauty because there are so many perceptions of beauty and I would fail miserably if tried to list down every. Each person is beautiful in his/her own self and some are beautiful to some and some not. Beauty in my general perception is to be honest to one own self, helpful to others, open to new ideas and changes, bring about changes, be able to speak up for something, stand against wrong and evil, care for everyone around, treat everyone with respect , be sensitive....person who is all such things is beautiful for me !
